National Route 66 Museum Inside this museum a road motif takes visitors to all eight states along the “mother Road” from Illinois to California. Photographs, vintage autos, and recorded personal accounts vividly re-create the hey-day of this historic route.
Old Town Museum Early Oklahoma pioneer life is depicted as visitors wander through this grand two story Victorian house. Visitors will find the lower level of the house filled with early pioneer life, Stars and Stripes Room with memorabilia from every war in American history and the Native American Gallery and the Miss America room with treasures from Elk City’s own Susan Powell, Miss America 1981.
Transportation Museum Visitors to this museum take an interactive trip through the history of transportation. Watch a short feature film on the history of transportation and establishment of Route 66. You will step back in time as you sit in the front seat of a 1959 Cadillac and drive down Route 66. Kids of all ages can climb into the 1917 Rio Fire Truck and ring the bell.
Farm and Ranch Museum This museum features a vast collection of tools that were used in early farm and ranch life in western Oklahoma. A blacksmith shop, windmill collection, tractors, broom corn thrasher, cotton strippers are among some of the antique exhibits on display.

-Monday thru Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM -Sunday 2 PM to 5 PM Directions: From I 40 -Eastbound take Exit #32 and travel 5 miles along Old Highway 66. -Westbound take Exit #41 and travel 4.8 miles on Old Highway 66. The museum is located on the north side of the road.
Admission: The National Route 66 Museum is part of the Old Town Museum complex that includes the Pioneer Museum and Beutler Brothers Rodeo Hall, the Farm and Ranch Museum, Livery Stable, Train Depot, Wagon Yard and other areas depicting Old Town Elk City. $5 for entire complex for adults $4 for students $3 for single museum Senior citizens discount and group/family rates available
