The OU Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications traveled west to Elk City to visit the National Route 66 Museum and Complex. Charles Wren, Curator of the museum led the tour. Afterwards, the Chamber/CVB made arrangements for them to go to Mountain Man’s Axe Throwing and Grub for dinner and to throw axes. While they were there, they even got to share in the joy of seeing the Merritt Oilerettes bringing the gold home!
